US Army ROTC
About
Everyone in the UCR Cadet Recruiting team shares the aspiration to one day serve as an Officer in the United States Army. Our goal is to spread awareness of the program to any Students at UCR that share our same aspirations.
While there are many ways to become a U.S. Army Officer, ROTC is a method that allows Cadets to attend school and earn a degree while participating in the training necessary to one day commission.
The work can be time consuming and weariness may certainly result, but the lessons learned, friendships, and accomplishments made can be invaluable for your life that lies ahead.
It is important to note that ROTC at UCR is mostly done through California State University San Bernardino and Claremont McKenna College. This certainly serves as a means to meet people from many other schools around the Inland Empire including California Baptist University, Azusa Pacific University, Cal Poly Pomona, and many others. However, having a means of transportation can make life in the program much easier.
